On a hot summer’s day, what’s better than a dip? Most children want to stay in the water all day. In the Fjord Country there are lots of places for water-babies. Local beaches are small but children-friendly because the water is shallow. Most beaches have public toilets and parking facilities. The Fjord Country has some of the cleanest water in Denmark. Twice a day, tides carry water out of Isefjorden and Roskilde Fjord into Kattegat and replace it with fresh water. Here are the beaches of the Fjord Country.
