Birgit and Jan run Bybjerggaard in the village of Sundbylille about 2½ miles from the town of Frederikssund.

At Bybjerggaard you can see the workings of a modern farm growing wheat, rape and barley.

There are horses, pigs, goats, rabbits and hens which you can help to feed. You can give them a cuddle, too.

In the ecological kitchen garden you can pull up carrots or dig up potatoes, depending on the time of year.
